Yamunanagar. The people of the village caught two youths who had come to sell drugs hidden in the sugarcane field and thrashed them fiercely. The video of him being strip-searched also went viral. The villagers handed over these youths to the police. The police registered a case and presented both the youths in the court. From where he was sent to jail. The case pertains to village Basantpura of police station Radaur area. Villager Ajit Singh told in his statement to the Radaur police that both these youths had come to the sugarcane field to sell smack to the youths of village Basantpura and they themselves were intoxicated. The villagers caught them on the spot and beat them fiercely. Both of them themselves were intoxicated. When they were searched on suspicion, silver foil and bits of smack were found from them. After this the villagers handed them over to the police. Radaur police station in-charge Rajkumar said that on receiving the information on the evening of January 25, the police reached the spot. Both of them were caught smoking smack near the cooperative bank of Basantpura. His medical examination was done in which it was confirmed that he was intoxicated. Both these youths Saurabh and Pinka are residents of village Hargarh. They were produced in the court from where they were sent to jail.
