While creating your children’s Aadhaar card, you should pay more attention while filling in English spelling and local language details, the tweet said. UIDAI has provided a number for any problem. UIDAI’s helpline number is 1947. You can call this number anytime from 7 am to 11 pm, Monday to Saturday. On the other hand, Sundays can be negotiated from 8 am to 5 pm.

How to Apply for Child Aadhaar

  • Visit the official website of UIDAI, uidai.gov.in.
  • Click on the Aadhaar Card Enrollment link. Fill in details like child’s name, parents etc. Then fill the details like address, district, city, state etc.
  • After that click on Appointment and enter your appointment date.
  • Now on the due date, visit the center and provide the child’s birth certificate and the Aadhaar number of one of the parents.
  • The documents will be verified at the registration center and you will be issued an acknowledgment number.
  • After 60 days you will receive an SMS on your registered mobile number and you will receive Aadhaar card within 90 days of registration.
