A spy balloon was seen above the nuclear launch site in America. America has claimed that the balloon shown above the nuclear launch site belongs to China and is being used to gather intelligence.

China’s reaction to the spy balloon

China said on Friday (February 3) that it is working to verify the facts surrounding America’s claims. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a regular briefing, “The verification is ongoing. Until the facts are clear, speculating and exaggerating the issue will not help to properly resolve it.”

America’s close watch on spy balloon

Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder told the media on Thursday, “We have detected a spy balloon and it is being monitored.” It is still flying in US airspace. It was seen in Montana. NORAD i.e. North American Aerospace Defense Command is keeping a close watch on it. The government has taken immediate action to protect sensitive information.

Dragon spying on America?

The Pentagon spokesman also told that the spy balloon is at a height much higher than the commercial airspace and there is no danger to the people on the ground. According to an American defense official, the Chinese spy balloon was used with the intention of gathering intelligence. Steps are being taken to prevent very sensitive information from falling into the hands of foreigners.
