Mumbai: Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Thackeray faction leader Sanjay Raut on Friday said that he has sent a legal notice to Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narayan Rane for making baseless allegations against him in public forums. Raut said that Rane should prove his allegations leveled against him or else he should apologise.
Raut tweeted, Narayan Rane is making baseless allegations against me and the Shiv Sena. He should prove his allegation or else apologise. I have sent a legal notice to him through my lawyer Sarthak Shetty. Jai Maharashtra. Rane is one of the fiercest critics of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his faction Shiv Sena. The war of words between Rane and Raut has become more intense. Former chief minister Rane was earlier in the Shiv Sena and left the party after differences with Uddhav Thackeray.
