In response to which Bengal showed their strength by scoring 328 runs in the first innings. On the basis of the first innings, Bengal took a significant lead of 155 runs. After this, the Jharkhand team could not do much batting in the second innings and got piled up by scoring only 221 runs. Bengal won by losing one wicket on the fourth day, scoring 69 runs.
