Raipur: Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was seen playing with snow in Srinagar hotel amid heavy snowfall. He had reached Srinagar on Sunday itself to attend the closing ceremony of Bharat Jodo Yatra. He had returned to the hotel along with senior Congress leaders after the historic meeting at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium on Monday. The Chief Minister will return to Raipur by Tuesday evening.

It is being told that after hoisting the tricolor at the state office of the Congress in Srinagar on Monday morning, all the leaders and workers of the party had reached the Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium. The leaders addressed a public meeting here amid heavy snowfall. Due to snowfall only some workers along with senior leaders were in the open. The rest sat on the chairs of the pavilion. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi gave speeches here.

Later everyone returned to the hotel. There also talks continued with leaders from other opposition parties. After returning, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel could not give up the temptation to enjoy the snow lying like cotton wool outside the hotel. He has shared a video on social media while walking in the snow, trying to catch the fluff.

He wrote, see the smile and relaxation on the face of our in-charge general secretary KC Venugopal after the padayatra. This smile and peace is on the faces of all of us Congress workers today. There is also deep satisfaction in the mind.

Dozens of Chhattisgarh leaders had reached

Dozens of Congress leaders from Chhattisgarh have reached Srinagar at the conclusion of Bharat Jodo Yatra. These include Health Minister TS Singhdev, State President Mohan Markam, MP Phoolodevi Netam, MLA Vikas Upadhyay, Devendra Yadav and many leaders. All these people are preparing to return to Raipur via Delhi.

Bhupesh Baghel was also with him in Kanyakumari

On September 7, 2022, Rahul Gandhi started the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was also present in that day’s public meeting. On the first day, Baghel and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin handed over the national flag to Rahul Gandhi. It took five months to reach Jammu and Kashmir from Tamil Nadu via Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh.
